How do I turn on utilities?
The City of Dyer provides water, sewer, and trash pickup.
To turn on the utilities, you need the following things:
- $150.00 Deposit
- State issued ID (drivers license or other)
- Proof of tenancy (rent receipt, lease, or deed)
If you've previously lived in Dyer, and have an unpaid prior water bill, you'll have to pay that first.
Water & Sewer Taps
The City of Dyer will tap water or sewer mains for new utility customers or for repairs.
To request a new water or sewer tap, please contact City Hall at (731) 692-3767 or drop by 105 South Main St, Dyer, Tennessee.
There is a fee for water or sewer taps that varies by size. The tapping fee covers the labor for the tap; you will be billed for all materials used to complete the tap (including a water meter or sewer tapping saddle).
