Bulk Waste, Limbs and Leaves

Bulk waste

The City of Dyer provides different ways to dispose of residential bulk waste:

Note that the following items are prohibited for bulk waste pickup: paint or paint cans of any kind, tires, construction or remodel debris, oils or other hazardous liquids or chemicals (including gas, propane), TVs, batteries, food, household trash, light bulbs, medical devices, thermostats or thermometers, or fireworks.

You can find out more about bulk by visiting the bulk waste page:

Limbs

The City of Dyer picks up limbs (under 6 feet) and leaves throughout the year.

Leaves, during "leaf season" (roughly October through March), can be raked or blown to the curb and will be picked up with the vacuum leaf machine. After leaf season, leaves must be bagged.

Public works tries to cover the entire city in about a week, but they are sometimes overwhelmed with other projects and tasks. If you think your limbs and leaves have been missed, contact City Hall.
